The duo is set to unveil a captivating ‘Ice and Snow Season’ themed pop-up NFT store, running from November 15 to December 31. This unique venture, co-sponsored by Weirdo Ghost Gang, promises an immersive experience for visitors, featuring an array of co-branded merchandise, including a specially crafted Dairy Queen-WGG themed ice cream.

In a strategic move, WGG NFT holders will enjoy exclusive perks as part of this joint endeavor, enhancing the engagement of the project’s considerable fan base in the Asia-Pacific region. The collaboration goes beyond the realm of traditional marketing, aiming to provide consumers with a deeper understanding of NFT art intellectual property (IP) through the lens of WGG.

The project’s renowned collection comprises 5,555 ‘Lil Ghosts’ NFTs, crafted by the Hong Kong-based Web3 holding company ManesLab in 2021. Since its inception, this collection has garnered substantial success, accumulating over 21,510 Ether (ETH) and boasting a current floor price of 0.485 ETH ($995.2).

Weirdo Ghost Gang has been actively fostering partnerships to expand its reach and promote NFT adoption. In September, the project launched the ‘City Party Map – Shanghai Station’ event in collaboration with local food retailer Jiujiu Duck Neck, offering exclusive discounts for NFT holders at more than 500 retail stores.

Last month, the ‘Ghost Season’ event unfolded at Beijing’s upscale shopping destination, The Box, where WGG showcased its NFT art on state-of-the-art 3D screens for eager shoppers.

In the midst of a challenging crypto landscape, characterized by a ‘crypto winter,’ numerous NFT projects are seeking collaboration with both Web2 and traditional brick-and-mortar entities for effective marketing strategies. This trend is reflected in the partnership between Dairy Queen and Weirdo Ghost Gang, echoing the industry’s resilience and adaptability. Notably, the intersection of the physical and digital realms is further exemplified by initiatives like the Wassies by Wassies NFT Collection, which previously established a pop-up hotel in Singapore, offering thematic rooms at around $100 per night from March to September.
