Pudgy Penguins Surpass Bored Ape Yacht Club in NFT Popularity Race

The popularity of Pudgy Penguins is on the rise due to its fresh approach to using its creative ideas. It seems that people are losing interest in apes, while penguins are becoming the new favorites.

The Bored Apes Yacht Club, known for its collection of ape NFTs, isn’t getting as much attention lately. Meanwhile, Pudgy Penguins, which came out around the same time, are doing better. This change is reflected in the prices. The cheapest Bored Ape costs 23.35 ETH, while a Pudgy Penguin goes for 20 ETH.

Luca Netz, the CEO of Pudgy Penguins, has big plans for the brand. He got $9 million to make them happen. Pudgy Penguins toys are already in Walmart, and they’re teasing a new video game called Pudgy World.

Meanwhile, the company that owns Bored Apes ran into a problem. They made a game where players could get special items, but it cost too much to claim them. They had to give people their money back.

More people are buying and selling Pudgy Penguins lately. In the past month, over 2,000 have been sold, compared to 886 Bored Apes. Not long ago, Bored Apes were worth a lot more than Pudgy Penguins. But now, things have flipped.

Overall, Pudgy Penguins are seen as cooler right now. People think Bored Apes need to make a comeback to get back in the spotlight.
